Our Curriculum & Co-Curriculum
Integrated of British Curriculum X STEAM
Integrated of British Curriculum X STEAM
We offer British Curriculum to develop learners’ knowledge, understanding and skills in:
In-depth subject content & independent thinking
Applying knowledge and understanding to new as well as familiar situations
Handling and evaluating different types of information source
Thinking logically and presenting ordered and coherent arguments
Making judgements, recommendations and decisions
Presenting reasoned explanations, understanding implications and communicating them logically and clearly
working and communicating in English.
Our school offers a choice of 18 subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computing, Design & Technology, Music, Languag, etc.) and schools can offer them in almost any combination. This flexibility means schools can build an individualised curriculum, and learners can choose to specialise in a particular subject area or study a range of subjects.
Our Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) program provides dynamic, hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, preparing students for today's challenges. In science, students experiment with genetics, ecology, and physics, exploring topics like climate change and chemical reactions. Technology courses delve into coding, robotics, and digital design, empowering students to create interactive websites and mobile apps. Engineering workshops focus on real-world challenges, from designing earthquake-resistant structures to prototyping renewable energy systems. In mathematics, students apply algebra, geometry, and calculus to solve practical problems, analyzing data and modeling scientific phenomena. Through interdisciplinary projects, students develop critical thinking and creativity, readying them for success in STEM fields and beyond.
Beyond individual subjects, our STEAM program emphasizes interdisciplinary connections and real-world applications. Students have the opportunity to participate in cross-curricular projects that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to address complex challenges. Whether it's designing a sustainable city model or programming drones for environmental monitoring, our STEAM program equips students with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
Combining the British Curriculum with STEAM Education offers a dynamic approach to learning that emphasizes academic excellence, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving skills. By integrating these two frameworks, students will benefit from a holistic education that blends the rigorous academic standards of the British curriculum with the innovation and hands-on learning opportunities of STEAM.
This integration allows students to explore STEAM subjects such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics within the context of the British curriculum, fostering a deeper understanding of these disciplines and their practical applications. Through project-based learning, interdisciplinary projects, and experiential learning opportunities, students will develop essential skills such as creativity, collaboration, and resilience.
By incorporating STEAM into the British curriculum, students will be well-prepared to meet the demands of an increasingly technological and interconnected world, while also gaining a strong foundation in core academic subjects. This innovative approach to education empowers students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators, ready to excel in both academic and professional pursuits.
